Other barrier creams tend to block the pores and wash off after every wash or simply lose their protective characteristic if the person naturally perspires. HandShield provides a natural barrier and continues to moisturise and protect for up to five hours even after continuous washing with soap and water. So, it's a product that provides real value.

• 2. What does HandShield do to the hands?

Absolutely nothing! It is entirely harmless to the skin and allows the skin to perspire naturally. It doesn't clog the pores, impair mobility, or sense of touch. It is not greasy. HandShield is even safe and gentle enough to protect a baby's skin from nappy rash.

It's edible, but has an unpleasant taste. It is not harmful.

No. HandShield is intended to act as a secondary form of skin protection and is not intended to replace gloves.

Dr. I. Sandford Schwartz "Dr. Sandy" has been involved in nutritional research, therapeutics and alternative healing for nearly the past 3 decades. He was proud to be selected and served as Dietetic Consultant to the U.S. Army Surgeon General, Washington D.C. from 1973 to 1985. Along with Robert Atkins, Co-founded the famous Atkins Center in N.Y. City, lectured at Universities and in Post Doctoral Programs.
